MC Mong (MC몽) – Miss Me or Diss Me (Full Album/Tracklist/Lyrics)

MC Mong is finally back after five years of silence!

There are feelings of longing and anger left after a lover leaves without saying anything. The album shows his feelings in between the lines, and he wants to talk to the people who have been quietly waiting for him through music, the only outlet he has since he was cut off from the world.

The title song ‘MiSS ME OR DISS ME?’ is a question and answer that he throws to himself. He gave up everything and lived a life disconnected from the world. Now he is overcoming the difficulties with courage. He compares his life to a flower, where it can’t be owned because it’s beautiful and can’t be thrown away because it has withered. It shows his hurt feelings. – 1theK

This album is his 6th full-length album after 5 years and consists of 13 tracks which I’ll be shared with you below. Quite a number of awesome singers collaborating with him for this album such as Baek jiyoung, Huh Gak, Gary, Lyn, Hyorin, Ailee etc. I really want to get a copy in my hand right now. hehe

“All the lyrics from the 13 tracks were written by MC Mong and this album are his stories of nostalgia, hope and love during his five-year hiatus.” – nate

He receives support by his colleagues so I hope he will receive much love by fans and his music supporters too. I heard that he’ll not appear in the two broadcast stations. MNET is a green light for him though so I believe that he is capable enough to capture people even without major promotion. IU (아이유) – Sogyeokdong (소격동)

Just wanna share with everyone because I am in love with the sound. Great to see Seo Tae Ji comeback and made IU sing this song. It really suit her voice. Gotta listen to his version soon!

‘SOGYEOKDONG’, a song perfected with the ‘SOGYEOKDONG Project’, is written, composed, and produced by Tai ji Seo and performend by IU.
It is a low-tempo, groovy electronic song, based on a rich tight-knit electronic source and some trap sound features. Yet the song has a clear, strong melody line which will really enchant the listeners.
The lyrics are about SOGYEOKDONG in the 80s. The song is filled with warm words about longing.
