The method on how to go to Nami Island is vary depending on your budget, time and preference. I personally like ITX. Fast and affordable. If you are not ‘on-the-spot’ person and wants to plan everything ahead of time, you can reserve ticket online. You can also use other methods if you are allergic to train. kekeke
GO TO NAMI ISLAND BY ITX-CHEONGCHUN – ONLINE RESERVATION
Go to this site: http://www.letskorail.com/ebizbf/EbizBfTicketSearch.do
Fill in the date etc. and choose your destination. Click on Cheongnyangni (if you departed from there) to Gapyeong. If you see no Gapyeong in the option, click the ‘G’ and choose ‘Gapyeong’. Don’t forget to fill in the time and number of passenger. Choose ‘ITX-Cheongchun’ for ‘Train’ option. click ‘Inquiry’.
‘Select’ your desired train schedule and it’ll direct you to the booking page. Fill in your personal information correctly. Click ‘Next’ to double check your info and proceed with payment. You’ll be prompted with booking confirmation once you click ‘Next’. Print it and bring together with your passport to the counter at the station for an exchange ticket.
You can buy return ticket using same method. Just change the destination and time 🙂

Though I highly suggest you to take ITX, you can also go to Nami Island by subway train if you want to save money. Quite cheap and you can use your T-money 🙂 The nearest train to Gapyeong is from Sangbong Station. You can also go from other stations like Seoul stations though it requires you to transfer station.
