BoA’s 20th Debut Anniversary Project! ‘Only One’ is from BoA’s 7th album released in 2012.

I think Gallant did a good job in this english remake. Although I think the vocabulary choices are ‘too heavy’ for the lovely melody,  it’s interesting to hear it in different version. Fyi, Only One is the first song BoA wrote since debut. I still remember she said this song wasn’t meant to be the title song (in a program, I forgot which one). She wrote this thinking about her first love? or her ex? and it was supposed to be a b-side track. But when she presented the song to Lee Soo Man, he suggested to make it as title song! That’s how it became a main track, and loved by many up until now 🙂
