Toy (Yoo Hee Yeol) 7th Album “Da Capo” [Full Album/Tracklist/Lyrics]

Explaining about the album title, Antenna Music said ‘Da Capo’ originally is an Italian musical term which means ‘go back to the beginning’. Through this album, Yoo Hee Yeol wants to greet everyone with the fresh music just like when Toy first made its debut once again.

Toy is back with “Da Capo” after 7 years! I would say this as Finally! Thank goodness! Perhaps if some of you not quite sure about the background of Toy, the sole member of the band is Yoo Hee Yeol. Unique right? He is a great musician I’ve known from Yoo Hee Yeol Sketchbook. As one of the judges from Kpop Star 3 last year, he’s quite funny. ^^ Supposedly it has 2 members but the other left for study right after their 1st debut album release. Anyhow Yoo Hee-yeol kept the name as Toy and release more album with the name in later years. The last album before this one was in 2007 with “Thank You”. This time quite a lot of establish and great singers join forces to make this album came true.

According to the agency, ‘Three People’ will be the 2014 version of ‘Good Person’ which was the title track of Toy’s 5th album ‘Fermata’ in 2001 and featured the vocal by Kim Hyung Jung. ‘Three People’ will serve as the extension of the original song as it will portrait the sad feeling of a man watching his two friends getting married to each other.

I love “Good Person” and “A Passionate Goodbye” so much that I am quite longing to hear his music again. Sung Si-kyung grace track number 4 with his angelic ballad voice *fangirl scream!* which was made a title for the album. A music video was published for this track, where you can see actor Yoo Yeon Seok is in it! [edit] New MV has been released on Dec 7th for track number 2, Reset. Very powerful song. Enjoy! 🙂

Track number 1 is a 2.34-minutes-length instrumental. A music video has been made for it, portrays Yoo Hee Yeol roaming on a street or by the road or something, somewhere one night in Seoul.. I’m so sorry ajussi.. I know you are a serious man but I also know you as a funny man, I can’t help but giggle when I see you act cool and gazing with your well-known eagle eyes while walking.. it just.. funny. hahaha *mianhaeeeeyong*

This album was released on Nov 18th, 2014 and has swept various charts with ALL of his songs! Below is a screen cap as at 6:25pm, 19th Nov 2014 showing ALL of his musics in the album were in TOP 16 in Naver Music. He was on TOP with “Three People” and consecutively swept the charts until number 8, 10 and 13-16. wow… just wow! I believe one of the factor is because people waited for so long. just. like. me! Star-studded vocalists drew a lot of attention though.. Well, Yoo Hee Yeol himself is a great musician who produced so many musics for many great artists so.. yeah 🙂
